Some could argue tailoring has taken a back seat since the pandemic, where the lockdown uniform consisted largely of loungewear. However, we would counter that tailoring has simply been reinvented. Case in point: Balenciaga's bold-shouldered blazers and exaggerated silhouettes. Sleeves are extra (extra) long on blazers and trenches alike while trousers are equally roomy. Though tailoring is a highlight of Balenciaga Men 2022, the House's streetwear inspiration is evident throughout the collection - think hoodies, sweatpants and relaxed silhouettes. The monochrome palette may be moody for summer, but Balenciaga has never adhered to the norm, so why start now? Shop the collection
