Watch Dior Cruise 2020 usher in an eclectic mash-up of prints, textiles and craftmanship from far-flung corners of the globe
The latest Dior Cruise collection is at the centre of this short film shot by Vivienne Balla and filmed by Tamas Sabo. For the collection, Dior’s creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, collaborated with African designers to create pieces encrusted with Murano glass beads, reworked artisan prints and Uniwax toiles in cashmere and silk jacquard. Swapping the ancient remains of El Badi Palace in Marrakesh (where the collection was first presented) for the contemporary art scene at Palais de Tokyo in Paris, this film tells a story of culture and craft blending with luxury fashion.
