First Look: Jennifer Lopez Wore Three Custom Ralph Lauren Gowns For Her Wedding

“The dresses were dreamy,” gushed Jennifer Lopez and we would have to agree. Following her low-key Las Vegas nuptials with Ben Affleck, the couple celebrated their rekindled romance in a whirlwind wedding at their home in Georgia, USA. You didn’t think Jenny from the Block would forgo a big ceremony, did you?

Jennifer wore three gowns for the occasion, all of which were custom-made by Ralph Lauren. The first, a high-neck backless gown, was what Jennifer walked down the aisle in. “The silhouette reimagines its column shape with a collection of spectacular ruffles at the hem,” shares the designer on Instagram. “Its sculptural design flowing effortlessly from the delicate turtleneck into a voluminous work of art.” More than 1,000 hand-cut handkerchiefs and 1,640 feet of fabric were cut and attached by hand for the romantic, ready-to-twirl-in skirt. A two-tiered veil completed the look.

J.Lo shared sneak peeks at the following two ensembles on her subscriber-only newsletter, letting her biggest fans inside her special day. The second gown was a body-skimming mermaid silhouette complete with a plunging keyhole neckline, criss-cross back and dazzling Swarovski crystals, which she wore alongside a shoulder-skimming veil. The final outfit – and MOJEH‘s favourite – was a sleek, pearl-embroidered gown with thousands of cascading strings of pearls. Thirty artisans worked across 700 hours to hand-embroider the gown with micro-pleats of silk tulle, Swarovski crystals She wore her hair in a sleek updo to highlight the gown’s intricacies.

Ben Affleck and their five children were also dressed in custom Ralph Lauren, Ben in a white tuxedo jacket and black trousers and the children in all-white ensembles to match attendees. Congratulations to the happy couple!
