The collaboration, which lands online at MyTheresa today, dishes up an edit of must-have holiday pieces, just in time for the global summer migration. We travel North and West, the North West travel South, and so on. The 13-piece collection stays true to Burberry’s new ‘Kingdom’ under the creative direction of Riccardo Tisci. With bikinis, swimsuits, kaftans, espadrilles, slides, beach towels and sunglasses all reflecting the brand’s smart, modern and understated aesthetic. The pieces come in shades of classic black, white and beige with occasional orange logos providing a splash of colour. All the pieces also feature the house’s new Peter Saville designed Thomas Burberry – TB – logo print.
Since being announced as Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer almost 18 months ago, Tisci is clearly making his mark. Once know for darkly feminine designs and attracting a slew of fiery muses – Rihanna and Kardashians included – we have watched with bated breath to see what he would do with a brand with such a distinct British identity, and famed for its expert outerwear.
