Gucci clashes elegance with its unmistakable edge for a high jewellery collection bursting with cascading diamonds and statement stones. Hortus Deliciarum marks Alessandro Michele's third collection for the House and, to mark the occasion, he sought inspiration from the decadence of days gone by and restored the splendour of rarities; inspirations span from 1850 to 1970. The mid-nineteenth-century pieces include micro-mosaics depicting Roman monuments and landscapes as an homage to Italy; the mosaics are flanked by a selection of stones including diamonds, topazes and pink spinels. Elsewhere, kaleidoscopic jewels represent the palette of Mother Nature through emeralds, mint tourmaline, peridots and pearls. Discover the collection
