Award-winning Spanish health and fitness facility, Sha Wellness Clinic, is launching a second international clinic here in the UAE. Named Sha Emirates, the new venture will arrive in Al Jurf in 2023.
It was announced that Abu Dhabi-based property developer Imkan have partnered with the renowned facility to create the new luxury wellness destination.
The Emirates-based centre is set to follow in the footsteps of the flagship Alicante clinic — which will be joined by a new Mexico facility in 2021 — to improve people’s health and wellbeing through ancient Eastern disciplines fused with cutting-edge Western techniques.
“After a decade transforming the lives of thousands of people from around the world at our current location in Spain, we dreamt of crossing the seas to new continents,” said Alejandro Bataller Pineda, Vice President of SHA Wellness Clinic.
“We wanted more and more people to benefit from our philosophy of integrative health and well-being. For years we travelled to dozens of locations in search of the perfect nature, warm weather, and accessibility to replicate SHA. It was not easy, but we finally found everything we could imagine and more at the seaside destination of Al Jurf.”
The Al Jurf location is a luxury development surrounded by wildlife and serene landscape, creating the perfect setting to reset and recharge.
Sha Emirates will be centred on reconnecting with nature, aided by clean white interiors and architecture that boasts elegant curves and soft-layered edges. Outside there’ll be cascading hanging gardens and panoramic sweeping views of the coastline.
