With everyone spending more and more time at home these days, we’re constantly on the look our for fabulous new interiors additions. That’s why the news that Loewe has launched a new collection of rustic candles and diffusers couldn’t come at a better time.

Inspired by the fresh scents of the outdoors in, this new line of home fragrances is inspired by the vegetable garden at creative director Jonathan Anderson’s London home, and features everything from candles and rattan diffusers to soaps and room sprays in 11 plant-inspired scents such as tomato leaves, coriander, pea, honeysuckle and cypress balls.

Curated exclusively by in-house perfumer Nuria Cruelles, the natural vegetable wax candles come fitted with cotton wicks, with some poured in fluted ceramic containers inspired by 5th Century Greek drinking vessels.

There’s also a selection of extremely chic candelabras, diffusers sprouting rustic rattan rods and room spray fragrances with anagram-embossed calfskin caps which nod to the label’s love for leather.

“Passionate for gardens, for plants and their unique smells, when I joined Loewe I already had in mind to create candles and add an olfactory dimension. I am happy to introduce this new line of home fragrances and potted candles based on the raw essences of a vegetable garden,” says Jonathan Anderson.

“There is an intimacy and a cosiness, but also a celebration of the natural world, to these candles that I find both timely and timeless.”

The perfect addition to our homes this winter, we’re already planning our next Thursday night in.
