Back in July, Prada proved that digital fashion can be just as powerful as the real-life runway when the Italian fashion house streamed a standout film for its pre-SS21 collection. Fast forward to September, and Prada once again opted for a virtual experience that is already one of most talked about events on the calendar.
Originally planned as a physical show, the digital SS21 presentation showcased Raf Simons’ debut for Prada — after it was announced in February that the Belgium designer would join the house as co-creative director, alongside Miuccia Prada. After the live streaming, the duo engaged in a conversation and answered a series of questions that had been submitted from fans, followers and fashion insiders.
