Could You Be Eligible For Dubai’s New Exclusive Members Club?

2 min read

Founded in London’s Mayfair in 1863, The Arts Club is considered to be one of the most exclusive private members clubs in the world. A vibrant hub for creative and entrepreneurial members (including global superstars such as Rihanna and Beyoncé), the concept provides an elite environment where guests  can come together to entertain, exchange ideas, dine and participate in cultural events connected to the arts. Set to sail oversees for the first time in its long-history (Charles Dickens is among the founding members), the club is launching an international outpost in Dubai’s DIFC later this year, with applications for membership now open.

What can UAE residents expect? Set over four expansive floors, The Arts Club Dubai will showcase five chic lounges, eight craft cocktail bars, three restaurants (including the popular London Brasserie), a library, a nightclub, a roof terrace and an array of private event spaces for upcoming debates, exhibitions and creative workshops.

Designed to be elegant, comfortable and versatile, the space will also carry forward the same ethos as its London counterpart and create a unique hub for like-minded individuals who share a love of literature, art, music, science and innovation, as well as the finer things in life.

How to become a member of The Arts Club Dubai…
To maintain its exclusivity, The Arts Club has a strict application process to become a member. Firstly, applicants will need to be recommended by two existing members (from either the London location or the new Dubai hangout), before going on a waiting list that is reviewed each month. Applicants will then be judged on what they can bring to the creative community within The Arts Club, and those without recommendations may get a chance to apply to the membership team in person.

Membership is split into four different categories; Full membership, Second membership (for spouses), Young membership (for under 30s) and The Arts Club International (for those who spend their time between Dubai and London). Further details and memberships costs can be found here and applications can be started at Theartsclub.ae
