Step Into An Alice In Wonderland-Inspired World At This Chic Dubai Café

2 min read

Just when you thought Tania’s Teahouse couldn’t get any more Instagrammable, the charming two-storey café launches an Alice In Wonderland themed month. Time to fall down the rabbit hole and sip on topsy-turvy tea

A hub for creatives and casual catch-ups, Tania’s Teahouse is a haven for millennial pink-lovers and tea connoisseurs. From its Insta-worthy barista art to its flower-filled walls, the Jumeirah Beach Road café promises the perfect spot for a slice of rainbow cheesecake and a stress-relieving herbal tea.

For the month of September, the chic café has turned its (already) whimsical setting into an adorable wonderland boasting fanciful food, picture-perfect corners and themed gift boxes inspired by the classic tale, Alice In Wonderland.

The story’s famed characters — including the mischievous Cheshire Cat, the elusive White Rabbit, the fabulous Queen of Hearts and Alice herself — are sprinkled among teahouse’s aesthetics and paired with a limited edition menu full of creative dishes and brightly-hued drinks. From the ‘Cheshire Cat Iced Tea’ to a sparkly blue ‘Drink Me Up Alice,’ and a deconstructed strawberry shortcake, entitled ‘Off With Your Head’ — there’s even a Mad Hatter’s afternoon tea platter made to share.

On September 23, Tania’s Teahouse will extend the Alice In Wonderland theme to its first Supper Club and host a five course culinary experience designed by head chef Ricardo. Reserved for an intimate group of diners, the magical night will begin at 8.30pm and will feature dishes such as pumpkin risotto, herb-crusted lamb and deconstructed tiramisu — with plenty of playful Wonderland twists presented throughout the evening. Expect a sophisticated banquet fit for the Queen of Hearts.
