Donation drives were held on 12 and 13 October in the UAE as part of the nation's UAE Stands With Lebanon campaign and over 450 tonnes of essential supplies were gathered and packed. The Dubai edition saw thousands descend upon Expo City Dubai, while Sunday's drive took place at the capital's Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal.
Warehouse 46 at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai has transformed into a donation centre and will be accepting donations including long-life food items, blankets, hygiene products, children's supplies and clothes from 10am to 6pm until 21 October.
UAE Stands With Lebanon is a campaign that leans on the support of the community to rally together and gather essentials for Lebanon as it continues to be bombarded by Isreal. The Emirates Red Cross has also opened various donation centres across the UAE. They can be found here:
