Celebrating all things frightfully exhilarating in fashion this week, we look to the dark recesses of designer minds.
For her SS08 collection, legendary fashion designer Miuccia Prada further elevated her presence in the creative sphere with a short animated art film that ran alongside her spring collection. The five minute video titled ‘Trembled Blossoms’ took viewers into an eerie world of mutated vegetation, water paint hues and involved mythological figures such as Pan (a Greek deity). The collection in turn featured hallucinogenic hand-painted prints across swaying gossamer tops and cropped trousers, accented by bags in deep burgundy and lavish purple.
