The SS14 collection by Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton will forever be remembered as the beginning of a new chapter for the house, whilst celebrating the incredible talent of Jacobs who single-handedly revamped the image of the luxury retailer. The collection dubbed by Jacobs as a tribute to showgirls encompassed all things dark Victoriana from bejewelled tulle dresses dripping in black embroidery to elongated ostrich headgear, lace mesh skirts and kohl eye makeup in the deepest shades of black.
