After months of anticipation, Dubai's latest luxury beachfront destination, J1 Beach, has officially opened. On the shores of Jumeirah in place of the now-demolished La Mer South, J1 Beach will host 13 beach clubs and waterfront destinations hailing from around the globe. Gigi Rigolatto includes a swimming pool, private beach, bubbly bar, petanque court, expansive children's play area, two terraces and a Mediterranean-style garden, offering multiple ways to enjoy the space and soak up the winter sun. Moving indoors, a swanky restaurant encapsulates the best of Italy, serving dishes that will be familiar to frequenters of the St. Tropez and Paris outposts (namely linguine alle vongole and grilled octopus) as well as city-specific plates.
