If you like to take photos of your matcha latte, chances are you're no stranger to ultra-Instagrammable café Tania's Teahouse. A pink, pun-tastic eatery that serves up delicious dishes and copious amounts of cuppas, Tania's Teahouse is the ultimate location for a well-photographed girls' day out. Now, Tania's Teahouse founder Tania Lodi has launched a sister location with a grown-up edge and a focus on wellness and self-love, aptly named Sereni-tea by Tania's Teahouse.

Located at the Keyani Wellness centre in Al Manara, Dubai, Sereni-tea adopts a Scandinavian approach for its interiors with a focus on hygge - a Danish concept encompassing the feeling of comfort, well-being and contentment found in life's simple pleasures.

Sereni-tea strays away from its all-pink predecessor for a decidedly more adult ambiance; the pet-friendly space features custom-made terrazzo tabletops, rattan accents and earthy tones as well as relaxing garden seating perfect for the cooler months.

In line with its aim to encourage guests to practice self-care and eat mindfully, Sereni-tea offers thirty teas with a variety of healing benefits as well as ethically sourced coffees, kombucha and adaptogen lattes infused with the likes of herbs, supplements and mushrooms. The menu is equally hearty and healing with delicious salads, guilt-free desserts and good-for-you cuisine suitable for every dietary requirement. Speaking on the space's emphasis on well-being, Tania Lodi says “I hope to offer up a space with inclusive offerings that show that gut-healing, anti-inflammatory dishes can still be fun and flavourful. Sereni-tea was created as an escape for those needing a break from the daily grind.” taniasteahouse.com
