Further afield, Bulgari opened a new boutique in Bahrain while Alicia Keys - yes, that Alicia Keys - held an event in honour of International Women's Day.

Located at the Polo by Ralph Lauren boutique in Mall of the Emirates, Dubai, the café mirrors the brand's signature green and white colourway throughout the space, creating an Instagrammable atmosphere in which customers can savour rich roasts and sweet treats.

Grammy-winning superstar Alicia Keys hosted the third edition of her Women to Women initiative in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday in honour of International Women's Day. The annual event brings women from various industries together to share stories of resilience and courage and motivate one another to continue to drive Saudi into the future. Some of the ground-breaking women in attendance included Saudi-American aerospace engineer and commercial pilot Mishaal Ashemimry, Saudi artist and photographer Huda Beydoun and Raha Moharrak, the first Saudi woman to summit Mount Everest and the seven summits.
