Miu Miu unveils a packed programme of short films and panel discussions

Miu Miu continues its exploration of femininity with Tales & Tellers, an ambitious project premiering at Palais d’Iéna during Art Basel Paris and on show from October 16-20, 2024. Part of Art Basel's Public Program, the event delves into the power of storytelling, giving a platform to women’s voices through film, live performances and art installations.

Curated by interdisciplinary artist Goshka Macuga and convened by Elvira Dyangani Ose, Director of MACBA, Tales & Tellers brings to life characters from Miu Miu Women’s Tales, an ongoing series of short films, and past runway show collaborations. These characters - portrayed by live actors and integrated with video projections - become the custodians of their narratives, offering audiences an immersive experience of retold stories, blending reality and imagination.

In addition to live performances, the programme will include screenings of Miu Miu’s commissioned short films and panels featuring filmmakers and artists. These conversations will focus on the personal experiences and creative journeys behind their work, offering fresh insights into the evolving understanding of femininity. The exhibition is free and open to the public, with online registration for guided tours and panels available from 3 October on miumiu.com
