The exclusive MatchesFashion.com x Prada collection is the first installation taking place at the five-story townhouse
To mark the opening of 5 Carlos Place, MatchesFashion.com’s new retail, event and creative broadcasting space in London, the retailer has collaborated with Prada to launch an exclusive collection of womenswear, menswear and accessories, showcased throughout the property in an installation by Robert Storey.
The eighty-piece womenswear capsule is an extension of Prada’s AW18 'Ultravision' runway collection and includes an eclectic mix of playful motifs, contrasting textures and striking fluorescent colours. For men the thirty-piece collection is built around the playful prints first seen on the runway and includes bold use of unexpected colour with sportswear in pops of pink, orange and green.
“I loved the AW18 Prada collection and knew I wanted to work with the brand to produce an exclusive collection - taking all the best elements, that we know will resonate well with our customer. From the tulle layered dresses and tweed coats and two-pieces to the fluorescent neon bags and shoes, there is something for everyone”, explained Natalie Kingham, fashion and buying director at MatchesFashion.com
The installation opened on September 3rd, 2018 and will be available for public viewing for ten days only.
