Nicolas Ghesquière is on the move again
Louis Vuitton is officially heading to New York for its resort 2020 show on May 8, 2019, according to a post by artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière on his personal Instagram account. It was accompanied by a video compilation of recent venues for the house’s resort shows mixed with images of the New York skyline.
In recent years, the French house has showed its main season collections at the world-famous Louvre Museum in Paris, but for the in-between season of resort, Louis Vuitton has often hit the road and has staged shows in the French Riviera, Kyoto, Rio de Janeiro and Palm Springs.
The brand is not providing any additional information about the New York show just yet, but judging by past events it’s sure to be star-studded and held in an architectural masterpiece.
