Meet Kayali, the new fragrance brand from the Kattan sisters
With successful product launch after successful product launch, Huda Beauty is heading into the next frontier - fragrances.
CEO of Huda Beauty Huda Kattan plans on launching multiple sub brands over the next year, bringing the business into at least two new beauty categories including fragrance and skincare. The sub brands will be complete with their own identities, but will live under the Huda Beauty umbrella.
Their fragrance brand, Kayali, which means “my imagination” in Arabic will launch a collection of four scents this November - Elixir, Citrus, Musk and Vanilla. The packaging features a clear glass elongated octagonal shape, with a diamond shaped cap meant as a nod to the traditionally elaborate flacons frequent in the region.

Kayali is the brainchild of Huda’s sister, Mona Kattan, a fragrance enthusiast who started separately mulling over the idea of launching perfume more than seven years ago. The idea behind the perfumes is to create a movement around fragrance layering, a process that’s ingrained in the Middle East, but not so big in Western Cultures.
The four fragrances will launch November 16 at Kayalifragrance.com, Sephora, Cult Beauty, Harrods, and Selfridges.
