In celebration of our annual Jewellery & Watch Issue, which hits the shelves this week, we look at some of its highlights.
Temple de Cartier
A continual source of inspiration for Cartier, the concept of Japonisme has influenced much of the brand's exceptional pieces. Paying homage to the Maison’s heritage, the decision to open a new flagship boutique in Ginza, Tokyo, came as a natural progression. The gilded structure spans more than 1,000 square metres and covers four entire floors. Architect Sylvain Dubuisson’s vision for the space elegantly blends the Cartier's Parisian essence with historic references to Japanese culture.
