Alexander McQueen’s spring/summer 2020 pre-collection sees the introduction of three new handbag styles, including The Myth, a luxurious and versatile design made in soft leather.
Inspired by legends and fables that continue to influence the house, The Myth references a classic McQueen silhouette with its belted strap and diamond faceted twist clasp. The sleek polished lock has become a signature stamp of the house, especially when paired with black studded leather.
The covetable carrier is available in a palette of radiant colours which take inspiration from endangered and extinct flower species. In parallel to the pre-SS20 collection, the handbag comes in complementing shades of orchid pink, lust red, black and khaki.
There is also a quilted leather variation in both black and white (complete with contrasting stitching), as well as a punk-inspired stud adorned style — made to be worn with a utilitarian jacket or a high-neck crochet lace dress.
Perfect for everyday ease The Myth can also be elevated for evening attire. For after-dark appeal, just add bejewelled rings, over-the-top puffed sleeves and two-tone leather pumps.
