Say hello to your new self-isolation soundtrack, courtesy of Alexander McQueen
Luxury fashion house, Alexander McQueen, has launched a new initiative which enables you to revisit McQueen’s catwalk presentations by tuning into the soundtrack from the show via music streaming platform Spotify.
Entitled, McQueen Music, the playlist has been curated by John Gosling — the creative responsible for the house’s runway music for more than twenty years — and features nine-hours of soothing music; from classical compositions to orchestral symphonies.
The house is also working with more collaborators to enhance the music channel; including Isobel Waller Bridge and the London Contemporary Orchestra, who composed and performed the live soundtrack for McQueen’s spring/summer 2020 show.
The perfect background noise for working at home, cooking up a storm or recreating your own fashion show, the McQueen Music playlist is a great way to stay connected to the fashion world in a time of quarantine.
