Emirati designer Salama Khalfan is making her mark on the jewellery world, with her eponymous jewellery collection that uses cutting-edge technology and modular components to form her individual line. Khalfan aims to make fine jewellery more wearable through the ingenuity of complex inner mechanics, like the ones found in her Shahnan collection, which features multiple segmental jewels that facilitate customisation and dual purpose usability.
