On December 18, the inaugural Gaggenau Black Forest Dinner will launch in Dubai at Inked in Alserkal Avenue. Spread over four nights, the pop-up will be immersive culinary experience featuring a bespoke menu in a magical festive setting.
Upon arrival, diners will step into an enchantingly dark room filled with tall trees, cool mist and the mossy scent of the woods, recreating the landscape of Germany’s Black Forest region where Gaggenau — a leading luxury kitchen appliances brand — was born 336 years ago.
The pop-up menu will also pay homage to Black Forest with rich, earthy flavours curated by Inked’s Executive Chef Hadrien Villedieu. Native German dishes will be given a contemporary edge to offer guests a fresh gastronomic experience; from wholesome sauerkraut pie, to chestnut and ricotta ravioli in smoked truffle forest broth, and of course the classic black forest dessert.
Every detail of the five-course menu is inspired by Gaggenau’s legacy; dedicated to culinary excellence the brand fuses tradition with innovation which has helped to build its storied heritage. The dinner will explore this heritage first-hand, whilst showcasing Gaggenau’s forward-thinking ingenuity through food.
“We are thrilled to launch the inaugural Gaggenau Black Forest Dinner in Dubai.” said Mr. Tomas Alonso, CEO of BSH Home Appliances Middle East.
“This experience will merge and showcase Gaggenau’s alignment with wonderful food, great chefs and most importantly, the heritage of the brand. Given the huge success of this event in Los Angeles and New York, we are excited to bring this to life in Dubai. A market that we know appreciates gastronomic finesse.”
