Bags, eyewear and scarves come in bold red, python print and glitter galore

A first glimpse of Bvlgari’s spring/summer 2020 collection suggests that chain mania, 90s shades and reptile skins are here to stay. The latest line of accessories from the luxury brand comprises of bags, eyewear and scarves adorned colour-rich python print, bold red leather and glitter galore.

The iconic Serpenti Forever Bag is reworked in fresh metallic tones and new drawstring shapes. Traces of mint and pastel pink combine to create a romantic sherbet-inspired hue that runs throughout the collection.

Butterfly appliques clash with a snake head clasps, in a battle of flair and nature:

The introduction of red adds striking power to the collection, with soft quilted crimson, cherry snakeskin and ruby leather lined by softer shades of pink and plum. Whether in micro, bucket or crossbody form, the colour has a retro-chic aesthetic that can’t be missed.

Intricate structures and futuristic shapes are at the forefront of Bvlgari’s SS20 shades. Sharp curves, aviator lines and half-rim frames add an ultra-contemporary dimension to unexpected eyewear.

The collection also introduces new Serpenti styles that exude everyday glamour in colour popping shades of periwinkle, pistachio and jade. Flared butterfly silhouettes, oversized hexagons and soft squares effortlessly frame the brows.

In contrast to contemporary eyewear, the SS20 scarves have a retro appeal. Bold, vibrant prints are sprawled across silk with a mixture of reptile, butterfly and even jewellery motifs. A whimsical world meets daring colour in a textile collection that pulls together the themes of spring/summer.
