Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna marked an unforgettable career milestone over the weekend with a surprise performance on Saturday Night Live. She took the stage alongside Coldplay to perform their latest track, We Pray, ensuring the audience will fall in love with her soulful rendition.
The collaboration wasn’t Elyanna’s first time working with the British band, but it was her debut on the legendary SNL stage. Joining Coldplay during the special performance was Argentine singer Tini, who is also featured on the track. After the show, Elyanna shared her excitement with her 1.8 million Instagram followers, posting behind-the-scenes footage from the rehearsals and celebrating the surreal experience.
The Arabic-language version of We Pray was released by Elyanna on 20 September, adding a deeply personal and cultural layer to the track. She had previously performed the song in Arabic on stage in Dublin, where she joined an impressive lineup of global artists including rapper Little Simz, Nigerian star Burna Boy and Tini.
As Elyanna continues to rise as a prominent voice for her heritage, her Saturday Night Live performance solidifies her place on the international music stage, especially with her upcoming shows supporting Coldplay in Abu Dhabi - further cementing her growing influence.
