Season after season Miuccia Prada and Miu Miu offer arresting campaign imagery which creates a dialogue far beyond just fashion. Culturally reflective and in tune with today's feminist movements. Last season saw Elle Fanning, Joan Smalls and Doutzen Kroes take to a French race track in style, while the year before Kate Moss fronted an all star cast of diverse and influential faces. For AW18, Elle Fanning leads a star line-up again and the house's go-to creative, Alasdair McLellan, takes to the camera for Miu Miu: The Conversation. The Miu Miu gang consists of sisters Adwoa and Kesewa Aboah, Georgia May Jagger, Ariel Nicholson, Zoe Thaets alongside Hollywood's newest names Rowan Blanchard and Raffey Cassidy. The Conversation presents the women at home in suburbia, reclining against velvet drapes, cushioned on vintage coaches. The stills present a fertile setting for their imaginations, all the better to carry off their Miu Miu heavy wardrobes. The idea: the gang dressed in their finest, just minutes before a night on the tiles. The moment before destruction...
