Day one of Paris Haute Couture Week and Givenchy's latest artist director Clare Waight Keller sends out a collection which has some of the audience in tears. In paying homage to both the life and art of the late Hubert de Givenchy - who passed away earlier this year - Keller offered a refined and restraint take on Couture for Autumn/Winter 2018. In tribute to the way Givenchy lived his life, Menswear was included. Sleek, graphic and slightly futuristic shapes sat alongside heavily embellished pieces. Each as sophisticated and elegant as the designer himself.
