Dubai’s Cé La Vi has an all-new vegan menu and it’s one of the most talked about in town

Cé La Vi at Address Sky View Dubai has stepped up to serve an all-new vegan menu, and it’s one of the most talked about in town

Veganuary may be long gone, but that’s not stopping a new wave of vegan menus coming thick and fast throughout the city. The vegan food scene in Dubai has never been more exciting, and the latest addition comes courtesy of Cé La Vi, the iconic sky-high restaurant on the 54th floor of the Address Sky View, which has revamped its menu in order to showcase its plant-powered offering.

Nothing short of a meat-free miracle, the vegan menu draws on the same Asian influences as the regular menu, with 15 new dishes to choose from. Kicking off with vegan bread served with coconut butter and chickpea hummus, you’ll get more than your five-a-day with its starters, such as crispy kale salad, roasted cauliflower and grilled asparagus. As for the mains, highlights include tagliatelle mushroom fricassee with roasted mixed mushrooms and shiitake dashi coconut cream, black truffle ‘sushi rice’ risotto, and butternut squash misoyaki served with miso cashew butter and confit orange.

A testament to the fact that desserts don’t have to come laden with cream, eggs and dairy, Cé La Vi’s sweet offering comprises a seasonal selection of sorbets, a fruit platter or, the star of the show, a vegan and gluten-free chocolate cake, made from banana and macadamia nuts, served with a mango sorbet, that tastes just as good, if not better, than the real thing.
