Cartier celebrates Ramadan 2020 with a charming film captured in Saudi Arabia's AlUla

The Holy Month of Ramadan is almost upon us and to celebrate, luxury jewellery maison Cartier has released a film dedicated to the spirit of sharing and togetherness.

Entitled, A New Dawn, the film chronicles the stunning surrounds of Saudi Arabia’s AlUla — which serves as a stunning backdrop for a roaming Cartier Panthere.

Embarking on a journey through the captaining desert landscape, the Panthere passes a series of landmarks from across the globe; which are reflected onto Maraya’s mirrored walls (one of AlUla installations) and magically entwined with iconic Cartier pieces.

From the historic Place Vendome in Paris to the sparkling Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the campaign unites the maison’s past, present and future in a film that sparks hope, despite the challenges the world is currently facing.

Cartier wants to send a message of solidarity and unity during this unprecedented time, by pledging to donate to the Emirates Red Crescent’s ‘The Homeland of Humanity’ fund, to assist the region’s most vulnerable in the fight against Covid-19.
