The Danish brand collaborates with Net Sustain on an eco-friendly collection

Sustainable Scandi style to shop now...

Copenhagen-based brand, By Malene Birger, has partnered with Net-A-Porter to launch a sustainable capsule collection made from eco-friendly materials.

Using Gots-certified organic cotton and responsibly sourced merino, including alpaca wool directly from Peru, the capsule joins Net-A-Porter’s eco-edit, Net Sustain, which continues to offer a platform to consciously crafted fashion.

The minimalist collection encapsulates the increasingly popular Scandinavian style, with pared-back jeans, blouses and knits in neutral, earthy tones of beige, cream and pacific blue.

Created by the brand’s Creative Director, Mathilde Torp Mader, the capsule was inspired by natural elements; from sweeping sands to summertime skies — in a classic-meets-modern style.

Shapley bell sleeves and subtle ruffles add signature details to otherwise clean designs; with standout pieces including the versatile Heila jeans which are cut from organic denim and lightly frayed at the cuff, the softly crinkled cotton Fleroya dress in a cool, cornflower blue and the Breonia blouse, a wardrobe staple with a twist.

The face of the collection is Moldavian-British model and sustainability activist Doina Ciobanu; who is recognised for her work across social media, blending fashion with environmental awareness.
