Captured by Inez and Vinoodh, Burberry’s spring/summer 2020 campaign features a series of supermodels adorned in the house’s classic coats, tailoring, silk shirts and signature bags — including the The TB Bag and Lola style.
Starring Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid and Kendall alongside Benji Arvay, He Cong, Freja Beha Erichsen, Nozomu Ito, Reece Nelson, Tosin Olajire, Rianne van Rompaey and Mona Tougaard, the campaign marks a new beginning for the heritage house.
“I have been working for a few seasons to define a new identity and visual language for this house” said Burberry’s chief creative officer, Riccardo Tisci. “I wanted to celebrate the men and women who represent Burberry – some who have been a long-standing part of my career and others who have started this Burberry journey with me.”
Set against a backdrop of Burberry beige, the new campaign builds on the luxury fashion house’s cues and codes, blending the eccentric and the classic. The iconic trench coat is paired with corsetry-style silhouettes and bonnet hats in neutral tones.
“It is always one of my biggest honours to work with a friend like Riccardo” said Bell Hadid. “He took me under his high fashion wing when I was young and now to be able to work with him again for Burberry is a blessing. Ricky always brings the best energy to set."
