Fast-track to today and the designer has become one of America’s biggest fashion exports. Lauren has also become a favourite of presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, and has dressed her for some of her most significant public appearances. Clinton donned a red pantsuit by the designer for her first presidential debate and an ivory suit for her acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention.
