Already on our wish list is a fresh set of handbag families from Alexander McQueen’s Pre-SS20 line, including the label’s newest leather bag recruit: The Story.
The luxury handbag takes inspiration from the sharing of narratives, with stories placed at the heart of the house of Alexander McQueen.
A strong, feminine shape, the bag features a signature, jewellery-inspired handle with bold, contrasting colour lining. In true McQueen-style the accessory can easily be worn across the body, hand-hand via an adjustable top handle, or carried as a chic clutch.
The day-to-night design comes in a colour spectrum of radiant hues which reference the spring/summer ready-to-wear collection; from a pink and red palette inspired by the endangered and extinct flower species to on-trend khaki, crisp white, and classic black to wear day after day.
Already a hit among the A-list crowd — Charlize Theron, Kaia Gerber, Naomi Campbell and Selina Gomez were spotted with The Story bag — the design also comes in Tall Story form, delivering a tote for times when you need some extra baggage.
