LPM Restaurant & Bar opens in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 1 July

Award-winning French-Mediterranean restaurant LPM Restaurant & Bar is opening its doors in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia next month

LPM Restaurant & Bar (formerly known as Le Petit Maison) will be dishing up its signature Niçoise cuisine in Riyadh come 1 July. The French fine-dining institution – which has branches in London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Miami and Hong Kong – will open its doors to diners next month at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh’s chic Al Olaya neighbourhood.

The opening will take place on the ten-year anniversary of LPM and following the hugely successful pop-up during the capital’s 2019 Diriyah Season. “The warm welcome we received from Riyadh’s locals and residents solidified our ongoing plans to open a full restaurant within what is, without a doubt, one of the fastest-growing cities in the world,” said Chef Patron Raphael Duntoye. LPM Restaurant & Bar Riyadh will feature a bistro-style dining area, a terrace and main dining room as well as a bar providing innovative mocktail versions of its best-selling beverages.

LPM’s 70 Mediterranean-inspired dishes were carefully created to produce a lighter, healthier version of traditional French fare and are best-served family style, if you can bear to share. Its signature is the Escargots de Bourgogne – snails served with rich, oozing garlic butter that you’ll want to mop up with a freshly baked baguette. Other must-haves include the Warm Prawns with Olive Oil, the delightfully zingy Yellowtail Carpaccio with Guacamole and Citrus Dressing and the Tarte Fine Aux Pommes (Thin Crust Apple Tart with Vanilla Ice Cream).

While LPM serves up fine-dining dishes, the ambiance is relaxed and welcoming. Neutral, French Riviera-inspired interiors and white tablecloths are juxtaposed with playful artworks chosen by LPM Director Bob Ramchand specifically for Riyadh, based upon the feelings the city evokes. If the current locations are anything to go by, the Riyadh edition is sure to be a success.
