In tribute to Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights that takes place 30th October, we look to observe the role of light in our everyday lives.
The Concept
Max Gunawan is the San Francisco-based designer, changing the way we connect with light. His multi-faceted Lumio light is a dynamic lamp that conceals itself as a beautiful hard-cover book. His designs are unique, opening to a 360 degree span using non-tearable paper that is illuminated by an LED light source. Ideal for travel or an innovative installation piece, the Lumio light is most definitely unique. The fixture comes fitted with a custom micro-USB charger and is accompanied by magnetic wooden pegs for mounting and a stunning leather strap for hanging.
