Nestled between the picturesque towns of Amagansett and East Hampton is the private and pristine Two Mile Hollow Beach. Close to the storied Maidstone Club, a massive beachfront country club so exclusive that even Diana Ross was turned down as a member, on any given day you will see pods of dolphins swimming along the shoreline, and perhaps a whale breach across the glimmering waves.

Dopo La Spiaggia

With stunning views of the Sag Harbor Marina and the countless yachts that dock there, Dopo La Spiaggia offers an intimate ambience and an impeccable northern Italian menu crafted with local ingredients and fresh, light dishes that leave you feeling as if you were sat in Portofino. Start with the burrata paired with organic tomatoes and basil or the scallop crude which is sliced razor thin and melts in your mouth. Finish with the most outstanding dish on the menu—the poached branzino.

Shelter Island

A scenic ferry ride from Sag Harbour, the mini-paradise of Shelter Island is the perfect day trip while in The Hamptons. There’s the Shelter Island Country Club for those interested in golfing, while if you’d rather embrace the tranquil surroundings, try hiking the Green Trail at the Mashomack Preserve that leads to incredible water views along a bluff. Your day should end with dinner at Sunset Beach, created by hotelier André Balaz of LA’s Chateau Marmont and London’s Chiltern Firehouse. Enjoy a jaw-dropping sunset with a late-night ambience that rivals Nikki Beach in St. Barts.

East Hampton—Main Street

If 5th Avenue existed in The Hamptons, it would be Main Street in East Hampton. Luxury brands from across the globe have built delightful boutiques along this street for discerning shoppers. Chilly nights set by the shore may call for a gorgeous sweater from Loro Piana, whole London Jewellers offers an array of dazzling pieces ranging from Patek Philippe watches to Chanel bracelets. Meanwhile, Gucci just opened a permanent boutique there, too: the latest go-to spot for fashionable Hamptonites.
