The Exhibition
Launched this week in celebration of London Fashion Week, Gray Modern & Contemporary Art gallery, situated in London’s affluent Marylebone area, will host a new exhibition centred on the works of artist Irwin Crosthwait. The late Canadian war artist-turned-fashion illustrator contributed to titles including Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Vogue and The New York Times alongside sketching for designers including Yves Saint Laurent, Christian Dior and Hubert de Givenchy.

The Sustainable Restaurant
Eating healthily during the manic London Fashion Week show schedule can be a task in itself, even more so if you’re trying to source a sustainable dinner spot. Welcome Bouillabaisse, London’s newest eatery for the conscious diner. Developed by Kurt Zdesar, the man responsible for launching Nobu’s first London branch in Mayfair, and for opening the popular Chotto Matte and Ping Pong, Bouillabaisse offers a full marine menu by executive chef Jordan Sclare, with fish sourced from sustainable waters.

The Theatre Show
London’s South Bank National Theatre will play host to the latest on-stage adaptation of the classic Brontë novel Jane Eyre this autumn. The acclaimed re-imagining of Brontë’s masterpiece was first staged by Bristol Old Vic last year, when the story was performed over two evenings. Director Sally Cookson now brings her celebrated production to the National with a show as lavish in costumes as it is in storyline.

The Concert
The city’s very own Florence Welch will pit stop at Alexandra Palace with her Machine while on her UK tour tomorrow evening to promote her latest album, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful. Expect to hear old classics too from her 2009 album Lungs, alongside new hits like Ship to Wreck and the songstresses latest single, Queen of Peace. Get your floral crowns at the ready…

Fans of cool kid New York grit will be pleased to know that Alexander Wang has just launched his first European store on London’s, Albemarle Street. The designer just celebrated a decade in the business last week during New York Fashion Week so expect to see a ‘best of’ edit in stores featuring reworked white t-shirts, denim pieces and performance wear.
