Elle Fanning. Opting for a simple brush of blush across the pout and a delicate matte-pink lip, the actress’s hair was brushed back with two polished bands of pearl when attending the Miu Miu cruise show during Couture Week. While the undertones of pink and Fanning’s skin tone could very well have resulted in a ‘faux-pas’, minimal application of the colour tone across the face and matching the sheen of the dress contributes greatly towards this effortless result. Try the Rouge Dior balm in soft peach.
Joan Smalls & Kendall Jenner. The models wore Miu Miu looks to the designer’s after party and channelled the triumphant return of the vibrant red lip. While each had a varying colour tone, the simple eye makeup and hairstyles also signal a return to the use of targeting a specific area across the face with beauty products, for instance, either the brow, the lip or the lashes. For a bold statement try Pat McGrath’s gold 002 pigment eye shadow.
Natalia Vodianova. Further emphasising the importance of dewy skin supermodel Natalia Vodianova appears unblemished and carefree during Couture Week. Her luminescent hair was parted to the middle emphasising her lightly glossed lip. For a natural highlight use Charlotte Tilbury’s Wonder Glow across the cheekbones or as a primer.
Natalie Portman. Sitting front row at Dior, Portman’s effortless sense of elegance shone through in her choice of a little black dress paired with one of the newer styles of the brand’s ‘So Real’ range in lilac. Beneath the eyewear, however, the actress opted for dewy skin, a strike of liner to emphasise the lashes and gently blow-dried waves parted to the side.
