“Even though my young children are running around in the morning, I always find five minutes to meditate,” says Niki Schilling, yogi, sustainability and spirituality expert, and director of innovations & sustainability at Rituals Cosmetics. Niki shares some simple solutions to help turn your beauty regime into a moment of mindfulness
A moment of mindfulness While focusing on my skincare routine I meditate through being kind to my skin and concentrating on staying positive. It might sound strange, but I treat my skin with gratitude and good thoughts. We’re always quick to see imperfections, but instead, start the day by offering your skin love and compliments. I always slowly massage cream in with long strokes while focusing on how it feels and how it smells. All of these elements help to experience this moment very mindfully.
Five steps to serenity I begin my day with a double cleanse using the Ritual of Namaste Cleansing Balm and Miracle 3-in-1 Micellar Water.
