These women are dominating the beauty world

Whether you’re jetting off to Paris for a spot of shopping or staying put to enjoy the best beaches and restaurants Dubai has to offer, chances are you’ll be in need of some makeup inspiration this Eid. Thankfully, Instagram and YouTube are a treasure trove when it comes to sussing out new looks and these Muslim beauty bloggers in particular are at the top of our list.

Dalal Al Doub @dalalid
Dalal’s passion for makeup started when she was a child. She spent hours watching YouTube tutorials, taking makeup courses and constantly facing the mirror to create new makeup looks. Now, the makeup artist from Kuwait has over 600,000 subscribers on YouTube and more than two million followers on Instagram. According to her website, Dalal’s goal is to “empower women; to provide them with confidence, and to encourage them to become their own stylists and makeup artists.”

Shahd Batal @shahdbatal
Between her stunning hijabs (which she only started wearing last year) and her killer brows, it’s not hard to see why Shahd Batal has already raked in over 200,000 subscribers on YouTube and more than 200,000 followers on Instagram. The Sudanese blogger, who lives in LA, has a bubbly demeanour and vlogs about everything from her beauty routine to her meal plans, and her Instagram is an aesthetically pleasing collection of images that showcase her laid-back personal style.

Amena @amenaofficial
Apart from being a beauty blogger, Amena is also the founder of a hijab company called Pearl Daisy, where she sells a new style of hooded hijab that she calls the “hoojab”, and the co-founder of Ardere Cosmetics. Her videos feature everything from her favourite dark circle remedies to hijab styling tutorials. And if that wasn’t enough, Amena also starred in L’Oreal’s latest True Match campaign.

Habiba Da Silva @lifelongpercussion
Habiba Da Silva recently made waves in the fashion industry when she launched a line of hijabs for diverse skin tones and urged others to reconsider what the word “nude” means when it comes to skin tone. The UK based influencer comes from a mixed Lebanese and Brazilian background and has over 1.5 million followers across her social media channels. Her YouTube videos touch on everything from makeup looks you can recreate at home to modest dressing.

The bright lipstick trend isn’t going anywhere fast and summer is the perfect time to experiment with new lipstick shades.
