MAC is renowned for inspired collaborations with musicians, brands and style icons – even producing a magical limited edition collection inspired by Disney’s Cinderella – and just when you thought their partnerships couldn’t get more indulgent they release the MAC Philip Treacy range.
The campaign images have had us all wondering, hoping and anticipating the iconic hat-designer’s imaginative creations made exclusively for the runways favourite beauty brand. Inspired by three unique couture hats, the preview promised a treasure trove of desirable shades. Last year the Irish milliner revealed he had been given complete freedom developing the colours for the collection, so we were expecting unique shades and we haven’t been disappointed. Philip Treacy has created decorative headwear for Sarah Jessica Parker, Lady Gaga, Kate Middleton – not forgetting Princess Beatrice’s unique hat at the royal wedding – and now he’s infused vivid pinks, rich metallics and ocean blues into the 12 products that make up his sensational MAC collection.
