Angelina Jolie joins forces with Guerlain for the House's new scent, Mon Guerlain eau de parfum Florale. Watch the actress in the launch video here.
Gentle yet determined; proud but generous; a dreamer and a doer. Guerlain's new scent, Mon Guerlain eau de parfum Florale, is an ode to 21st century femininity and Angelina Jolie is the woman fronting it. Lavender from Provence melds with Vanilla Tahitensis for a soft accord. While Sandalwood offers the fragrance its strength. Jasmine, gathered at sunrise, is used in large amounts for a beautiful aromatic touch. "For this composition, we wanted to focus on the floral aspect...," said Delphine Jelk, who co-created the perfume with master perfumer Thierry Wasser. "We have fashioned it like a bouquet of white flowers, heightening the Sambac Jasmine, which is an integral part of Mon Guerlain's identity."
Angelina Jolie stars in both the campaign's visuals and short film. The actress and UN ambassador is captured in a raw moment showcasing her body art and natural, beautiful skin. Jolie reveals the Mon Guerlain bottle which was originally designed by Gabriel Guerlain and created by Baccarat in 1908. Taut lines contrast with curves in another exploration of the scent's femininity, celebrating both the sensual and audacious sides of the Guerlain woman.
"The sunny, luminous and generous facet of femininity is expressed through the jasmine overdose," says Thierry Wasser. MOJEH recommends: one spray on both wrists and another in the hair for long lasting notes of Jasmine, Lavender and Sandalwood.
