Sisley’s New Fragrance Is An Ode To The Night

Paying homage to a unique rose that grows in Isabelle d’Ornano’s garden, Sisley’s Izia La Nuit is a bright, airy and floral scent perfect for after hours.

With a new season comes a whole host of new fragrances, but for us there’s one that really stands out from the crowd. Paying homage to a unique and mysterious rose that grows in co-founder Isabelle d’Ornano’s garden and only blooms fleetingly once a year, Sisley’s Izia La Nuit is a bright, airy and floral scent that is perfect for after hours.

A heady cocktail of vanilla, amber and rose blends, this modern scent combines fruity and colourful notes with deep woody and leathery facets that stay strong all night. Notes of blackcurrant, mandarin, cardamom, freesia, magnolia, ambrox and patchouli complete the concoction, which was built around the distinctive scent of a bouquet of roses.

Sisley’s new fragrance is the latest chapter in an olfactory legend that began with the launch of Izia back in 2017, reflecting the fondness Isabelle holds for the flower and its feminine notes. This latest addition is just as intensely floral, but its darker notes add an extra layer to appeal to a wider range of fragrance aficionados.

Alongside its new scent, Sisley enlisted the help of Isabelle’s grand niece Sonia Vasena to star in the campaign, which was shot at the gorgeous Voisins castle in Saint Hilarion in the Yvelines, France. Built in the mid-17th century and owned by a number of French aristocrats, interestingly the castle was used for parts of President Snow’s mansion in Jennifer Lawrence’s award-winning movie Hunger Games, boasting beautiful spaces and stunning French garden.

This exquisite bottle will most definitely be taking pride of place in our beauty cabinets this season.
