The 15-piece capsule wardrobe aptly coined ‘The Summer Project’ comprises of breezy lightweight dresses and accessories. The highlights include a cool grey parachute silk shirt and an oversized white cotton-linen shirt. To celebrate the project Mytheresa took Belgian model Yumi Lambert to Sylt, a German island in the Frisian archipelago for a shoot which embodies the minimalist essence of the brand. Mojeh takes a first look at the collection which is guaranteed to breathe effortless sophistication into to your summer travel wardrobe.

Jil Sander has always been truly apt at reimagining classics and injecting wardrobe perennials with a magnetic modernity and sophistication, Lucie and Luke Meier, Creative Directors at the brand, told us: “This collection was very personal so the inspiration came from some of our own experiences in the summer, traveling, enjoying the seaside, and being in nature. What kind of fabrics we like in that environment, what kind of garments we use, or want to use. It was a feeling we were after, but also a practicality of what’s needed in that moment and environment.”
