Here's how to create Dior's cool and contemporary beauty look using the Diorshow On Stage Liner. We go backstage at the AW18 show with Peter Philips and his army of models.
"I wanted to create an eye that displayed colour and played with the shades of the sunglasses which were omnipresent in this collection," explains peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior makeup. "In a reflection of the tinted and transparent lenses, I used the new Diorshow On Stage Liner to draw a line of colour on both the upper and lower lash lines." Green, red, pink, blue, grey and yellow (as showcased in our gallery below) - all the colours are present through the collection and their accompanying eye looks.
The Diorshow On Stage Liner is a professional tool developed backstage, created for every woman who wants to express her artistic side through beauty. This liquid liner makes application easy and allows the perfect line with one glide whether using it on the lower or upper lashes. As showcased in the behind the scenes video, the felt-tip applicator is streamlined allowing for the precise line you'd otherwise need separate brushes to achieve. Whether you want to recreate Dior's exact beauty look or something harder hitting, its flexibility allows for both thick and thin lines.
"I finished the look by emphasising eyebrows with the Diorshow Brow Styler and Diorshow Bold Brow, while making sure they still looked natural," Peter Philips describes the finishing touches to his eye look. The spirit of Maria Grazia Chiuri's autumn winter at Dior is audacious and high-spirited, felt through an emphasis on bold colour movements and freedom in silhouettes. Peter Philips beautifully captures it through the beauty looks which encourage fresh faces and flashes of jovial hues. "There is a 'camouflage' makeup effect, as though its blending in with each pair of glasses."
The new Diorshow On Stage Liner colours will be available in May.
