Contemporary label Les Benjamins has released its inaugural fragrance line comprising ten unisex perfumes. Spearheaded by head of womenswear Lamia Aydin, who shares a passion for fragrance with founder and creative director Bunyamin Aydín, the Notes of Nostalgia collection continues the brand's mission to bridge the east and west.
Notes of Nostalgia is heavily inspired by the region and the cultural practice of scent layering. "Both myself and Bunyamin have long-layered and cultivated our personal fragrances by blending sometimes upto five different layers of oils, perfumes and ouds, so instilling this into Les Benjamins and getting to curate a new fragrance language for the brand has been a dream” shared Lamia.
Highlights from the collection include Liquid Gold, which combines patchouli, bergamot, rose and lavender; the floral, oriental-inspired Mystic Oud; Desert Dawn, with notes of saffron, oud and cashmere wood; and the spicy-yet-sultry Moroccan Musk.
