French shoe designer Christian Louboutin makes his fragrance debut today with the launch of three perfumes; Bikini Questa Sera, Tornade Blonde and Trouble in Heaven. Known for his seductive red-soled shoes, the designer made his first steps into the beauty industry in 2014 when he launched a line of nail polishes, followed up by a range of lipsticks last year. In a statement released by the brand, Louboutin explained his decision to create a fragrance collection, "I wanted to celebrate the woman and her desires. I wanted these fragrances to enhance an aspect of her personality, or perhaps reveal something about her that no one knew before, maybe not even her, tell a secret, a story. I want to give women the means to express themselves and delight in their femininity."
The three perfumes embody very distinct personalities, Bikini Questa Sera is both intimate and compelling, harnessing heat and sensuality, while Tornade Blonde captures the essence of desire and passion and Trouble in Heaven exudes opulence and mystery. Chrisitan selected his goddaughter, actress-turned-philanthropist Elisa Sednaoui to be the face of the fragrances and called upon the renowned London architectural firm Heatherwick Studio to design the innovative, structural bottles that house the scents. Each of the bottles feature their own unique colourway which symbolises the distinct characteristics of the three fragrances. Available from all Christian Louboutin Boutiques in the region, as well as Level Shoes and Tryano in Abu Dhabi from today, we suggest you make room at the top of your wishlist for these evocative scents.
