The stars are outshining themselves at this year's Cannes Film Festival, with windswept locks, relaxed curls tumbling around gently bronzed complexions and slick up-dos – beauty was in abundance.

Even among the myriad of camera flashes, Charlize Theron dazzled in a sunshine Dior gown and Chopard diamond earrings. Followed by an everlasting train and partner Sean Penn, the Mad Max: Fury Road actress tops our beauty charts with her lightly-bronzed complexion, pink tinted lip and single loose curl.

The gentle spring look created by make-up artist Pati Dubroff uses the French fashion house’s lip colour and a swipe of Diorshow mascara, alongside beauty-brand staples Charlotte Tilbury and Smashbox products. Accessible beauty brands are a firm favourite this season, from Gigi Hadid’s Maybelline lip at the Met Gala to Julianne Moore’s purple pout at the Oscars created by blending two L’Oreal shades – recreating celebrity looks has never been easier.
Emma Stone’s wardrobe for Woody Allen's Irrational Man premiere included an Oscar de la Renta LBD and an elegant Christian Dior Couture gown - both complimenting the actress’ pale complexion and cropped red locks. The feminine ODLR dress layered with ruffles and sheer lace was teamed with a loose wavy up-do and a soft pink lip – a demure approach to beauty conquering Cannes. As Stone emerged wearing her second ensemble, the Dior Couture gown reminded us of a vintage bridal design. Alongside the star’s elegant middle-parted up-do and Audrey Hepburn brows, she was a vision of feminine radiance.

Breaking the mold with a bold, red lip was the ever-stylish Sienna Miller. Dressed in a one-shouldered midnight blue Lavin gown at the impressive Cannes opener La Tête Haute premiere, the star set the beauty-bar high from the first day. Sienna’s contoured cheekbones and feline flicks were brought to life with a swipe of vibrant red lipstick – created by the beauty-guru Charlotte Tilbury - it’s no wonder we were envious of the flawless look.
